Baritone Saxophone Yanagisawa BWO2
The Yanagisawa BWO2 has the same configuration and keywork as the BWO1 but importantly a bronze body and crook. This means the core materials have a different copper/zinc content. The higher copper content found in bronze saxophones adds a certain subtlety and warmth to the sound, the BWO2 also has its pillars individually mounted directly to the body which allows the base brass to really resonate.
Perhaps more suited for the player who wants a balance of immediate tonal production but some extra warmth not found in the BWO1. The warmth is gained at the expense of a little projection due to reduced zinc content in the core brass.
- Bronze body consists of higher copper content and less zinc than normal brass.
- Low A range.
- Adjustable front F key.
- Gold Plated thumb rest and hook.
- Supplied in a deluxe wood-shell protective case with hand finished ebonite mouthpiece.
