Buffet Crampon F12229 is a genuine silver-plated metal ligature for bass clarinet mouthpieces. It is designed to hold the reed securely in position and is part of Buffet Crampon's original accessory range.
Features and purpose
The ligature holds the reed correctly against the mouthpiece table. Even fastening helps maintain consistent reed contact while allowing the vibrating portion to move freely.
The silver-plated metal surface provides a characteristic bright finish. The ligature can be used to replace the original accessory or to equip an additional bass clarinet mouthpiece.
Mouthpiece compatibility
F12229 is intended for bass clarinet mouthpieces. It is listed in Buffet Crampon's official accessory catalogues for the Prestige BC1183 and BC1193 bass clarinets.
Important: mouthpiece shape and dimensions may vary between manufacturers. The silver-plated Buffet Crampon F12211 mouthpiece cap is a separate accessory and is not included.
