This aluminum-wound D-string NR.DY03 is highly recommended if you are experiencing problems with a wolf tone on the G-string, or if you want to improve the overall response of your instrument.
Compared to the silver-wound D-string (NR.DY03A) included in the standard Dynamo set, this aluminum version is less brilliant and features a larger diameter. You should also try this string if you prefer a slightly coarser, more textured bow noise than what the silver D-string produces.
Technical Recommendations: The larger diameter provides a substantial feel under the fingers of the left hand, and the acoustic properties of the aluminum help to beautifully balance the instrument's resonance.
