**Helicore Octave Violin String Set, 4/4 Scale, Medium Tension**  

These strings with medium tension are designed for 4/4 violins with a playing length of 328 mm and meet the requirements of most players. The Helicore Octave string set is designed to be played an octave below the traditional violin sound, opening up entirely new tonal and stylistic possibilities. These strings are manufactured using the same core technology as the original Helicore string set. They are considerably thicker than traditional violin strings, so they must be installed on your violin with extra care. Please follow these steps: make sure that the channels in your bridge and fingerboard are wide enough for the diameter of the strings. Excessive pressure or clamping may prevent them from vibrating freely. You will achieve optimal results if you carefully apply graphite (pencil lead) into the channels before stringing.
