Audix D6 Dynamic microphone
Audix D6 microphone, dynamic, hypercardioid, incl. D-clip micro clamp / bag, (bass, bass drum, electric bass)
The Audix D6 is a professional, dynamic high-end instrument microphone with a cardioid characteristic. The patented capsule with VLM membrane type E offers a wide, accurate and very dynamic sound reproduction of the recorded instrument. Due to the frequency range extended downwards from 30 Hz to 15 kHz and a max. SPL of 144 dB, the D6 is almost predestined for low-frequency and very percussive instruments such as the kick drum.
The high-quality metal die-cast housing with zinc alloy is equipped with a sturdy steel basket that effectively protects the capsule behind.
This high mechanical level guarantees a low probability of failure and a very long service life. The transformerless design, the comparatively low input impedance and the symmetrical output enable interference-free performance, even when long cables are used.
Note: If a kick drum to be removed has a sound hole, make sure that the Audix D6 is always located inside the bass drum. Because uncontrollable sound movements can occur at the sound hole, which then make a perfect pick-up almost impossible. damage the microphone.
