Shipping Goods to the U.S. and Puerto Rico: Important Customs Update
We want to inform our valued customers of a major change to U.S. customs regulations for international postal shipments that affects how duties are applied to your orders.
Effective as a result of the U.S. Executive Order, “Suspending Duty-Free De Minimis Treatment for All Countries,” issued on July 30, 2025, all commercial shipments arriving in the United States on or after 12:01 AM ET on August 29, 2025, are now subject to applicable import duties, taxes, and fees. This Executive Order eliminates the previous $800 duty-free threshold (known as the de minimis exemption) and introduces new compliance and procedural requirements for all international mail.
Our Solution for You: Hassle-Free, Duty-Paid Delivery
To ensure a smooth and predictable shopping experience, we have immediately adopted the "Postal Delivered Duty Paid" (PDDP) service via DHL Paket International for low-value orders.
For all orders valued at $800 USD or less:
- You pay no duties upon delivery. We calculate and pre-pay all applicable U.S. import duties and taxes on your behalf.
- The cost of these duties is already included in your total shipping price at checkout.
- This means your package will move through U.S. Customs without any unexpected fees or delays for duty payment.
For orders valued over $800 USD:
- The traditional rules still apply. Customs clearance, including the payment of all applicable duties and fees, remains the responsibility of the customer (importer of record).
We are committed to making your international shopping experience with us as seamless as possible, even with these new customs regulations in place.
