Pyramid Strings - Tradition and Quality
The history of Pyramid company spans over 150 years. Founded in 1850 in Schönbach, in the Habsburg Monarchy, by Anton Osmanek, the company initially focused on textile production, but after industrial mechanization, it became unprofitable. In 1840, Anton shifted to selling musical instruments and founded the company "A. Osmanek, Musikinstrumenten- und Saitenfabrik" after marrying the daughter of a string manufacturer. The company gained recognition, was closed during WWII, but later revived under the name Pyramid. Today, Pyramid produces strings for a wide range of musical instruments and exports to over 100 countries.
