The GEWA Germania viola is a professional-grade concert instrument, entirely handcrafted in GEWA's master workshops in Germany. Conceived by master luthier Thomas Böhme, this model is built using selected European tonewoods. The instrument is finished with an open-pore, hand-applied spirit varnish. This ultra-thin coating allows the wood to vibrate freely, resulting in exceptional acoustic response and a sophisticated, multi-layered sound profile.
