Sennheiser E 614 Condenser overhead microphone
Sennheiser E 614 instrument microphone, condenser, supercardioid, (overhead, hi-hat, percussion, woodwind instruments, stringed instruments)
The E 614 is a permanently polarized condenser microphone with supercardioid characteristics. It was developed for demanding applications in which an extended frequency range, high level stability, fast transient response and a compact design are required. With its frequency range from 40 Hz to 20 kHz, the e 614 captures the full surround sound and the entire body of your instrument. The excellent supercardioid characteristic ensures greatly reduced crosstalk from other instruments on stage. Although the microphone is primarily designed for percussion recording, it is also ideal for woodwind and string instruments. Thanks to its very good acoustic properties, the e 614 can also be used for demanding home recording.
