Construction and silver-plated finish
The brass ligature band features a rolled and mechanically bolted construction without soldered joints. This manufacturing method avoids localized heating during soldering.
The solid ReedReflector element is precision CNC-milled. Its two longitudinal contact rails hold the reed securely while minimizing the contact area.
The tightening mechanism incorporates left-hand and right-hand threads for even clamping and accurate centering on the mouthpiece. An ergonomically knurled adjustment screw allows precise control of the clamping pressure and convenient reed replacement.
The Silver Plated edition features a genuine silver-plated finish. Unlike the gold-coloured lacquer coating of the Gold Lacquer version, this finish consists of a metallic silver coating. YBRATO ligatures are produced in small batches and hand-assembled in Germany.

The YBRATO ReedReflector Silver Plated ligature for B-flat clarinet fits many Boehm-system and German-system mouthpieces. However, external mouthpiece dimensions and shapes may vary significantly between manufacturers, so compatibility with the specific model should be checked before ordering.
Reed compatibility is also important, as the ReedReflector construction with its two longitudinal contact rails is not suitable for every reed profile, particularly certain synthetic designs.
