Audix i5 stands for accurate and very natural sound reproduction thanks to a dynamic cardioid capsule and a type B VLM diaphragm. As this universal microphone can process sound pressures of up to 140 dB without distortion, and that via a Transmission range from 50 Hz to 16 kHz, it is the first choice when it comes to the acceptance of snare drums, percussion, electric guitar and electric bass cabinets / combos, various acoustic instruments or even pure speech.
The high-quality metal die-cast housing with zinc alloy is equipped with a sturdy steel basket that effectively protects the capsule behind. This high mechanical level guarantees a low probability of failure and a very long service life.
