The Shure Beta52A microphone is a dynamic microphone for bass drum and bass instruments.
Picking up low frequencies causes almost insoluble problems for many microphones. For this reason Shure developed the new Beta 52. A dynamic microphone whose frequency response was specially designed for the transmission of the lowest frequencies. This microphone sets a new standard for recording bass drums and other bass instruments. The special tripod holder and cable feed enable easy assembly and precise alignment of the Beta 52 on the one hand, and safe operation without the hassle of cables on the other. In keeping with the Shure tradition, the Beta 52 is equipped with a robust, hardened grill that protects the microphone from bumps and dents so that it can withstand the stresses and strains "on the road" undamaged. The unique capsule holder isolates structure-borne noise and reduces background noise to a minimum.
